RELIGION, THE SISTER OF CUSTOM

 Religion and custom are two sisters who are combating for the survival of the devil, their common lover. To believe in religion or in custom is to blindfold oneself in a false faith.

The Lord GOD who is the Creator of all things that exist speaks about JESUS CHRIST in Deuteronomy 18, 19: “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken to My Words which He shall speak in My Name, I will require it of him”. He adds further in the book of Luke 9, 35: “This is My beloved Son, hear Him”. This testimony is true, for no man has been righteous in his mission on earth. Only the Lord JESUS, the righteous missionary, loved humanity to the end, in the evening when He took His last supper with His disciples (John 13, 1). In order to be saved, each person should profit by believing in JESUS CHRIST who is the infallible Word of GOD, in the Bible dictated by the Holy Spirit.

Custom, the sister of religion originates from a tribe. It thinks that it is doing better than her sister, but alas! It is instead turning away people from their Creator. Custom authorizes the blind adoration of gods of ancestors; the worship of skulls, the dead, trees, rocks, the sun, even humain beings are worshipped as gods, in various countries. All such religious practices sum up to idolatry.

Will religion realise the enormity of its errors as it is unreasonably truying to override its sister, custom? Let us look attentively at the Word of GOD which not only saves the world by the means of repentance at the cost of the blood of JESUS CHRIST, but also accuses them in His righteousness. Let us read: James 1, 26-27; Psalms 34, 12-16; Isaiah 57, 3-13. Religion and custom, listen: after you must have wailed will your uncuntable number of idols rescue you? As for us who have believed in the Word of GOD, we enter into His rest according to what is written : “Let us, then, do our best to receive that rest, so that no one of us will fail as they did because of their lack of faith”.(Hebrews 4, 11).

Custom or tradition is unable to lead people to the light of GOD yet it sows the fear of death into them. Religion removes the custom of men but leaves them empty. For example, in the past, people refused to pick up objects they see on the road. Religion has instead qualified that abstention to be idolatry. It has exposed or rather induced people to theft and many other evil practices that this tract connot enumerate.

        To believe in a religious denomination is in a sense, following a doctrinal custom which obviously separates man from the will of GOD. There are even some relilgions which have laws different from that of GOD. A deep study of this topic brings one to feel the tension of the sin of religions on the world.

Beware of religions. To believe in any religion is to be swallowed up alive in blindness. From the on set, religion is born by belief. Belief is right if it is based on the Word of GOD through JESUS CHRIST, for JESUS CHRIST says : “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life ; No one comes to the Father but by Me”. JESUS came into the world to destroy the custom of men ; it was neither to give way to sin, nor to wordly religions. He came to implant the new covenant, which is grace and which replaces the law and prophets. (Matthhew 5, 7 ; Matthew 22, 36-40). He, Himself is our expiatory victim, the Atonement for all our sins, not only for ours, but also for the sins of the whole world. He is the true religion in GOD, Creator of heaven and earth, an adoptable “custom” for all humanity.

He has promised the resurrection of the dead to all believers, delivrance to any creature that would believe His Word, Holy Ghost baptism that is received up to today to any human being who obeys the Word of GOD. Religion is dead but faith in JESUS CHRIST is living for the salvation of our souls. It was already the sixth hour (Luke 23, 44-45). Since from that time all religions are dead; temples, that of Jerusalem being an image, were all destroyed by JESUS and He rebuilt the true temple in three days through His resurrection. I remind you that on that day darkness did not only cover the Jewish world, but also the pagan world and their religions. There is no difference between idol worshippers and religions that live in darkness. Custom as well as her sister religion is an idolatry. Is there any difference between relics and the cult of the dead or ancestors being practised today?

Israelites were blinded by sin when they lost confidence in the message of GOD preached to them by JESUS CHRIST who was announcing the Word of GOD which is light. Let us all agree that pure religion is that of JESUS CHRIST the Light of the world. (James 1, 27).

 “Believe in the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and you will be saved, you and your family” (Acts 16, 31).

Il est écrit : « Quand JESUS eut prit le vinaigre, Il dit : Tout est accompli. Et, baissant la tête, Il rendit l’esprit » (Jean 19, 30).

Tout est accompli. La volonté de DIEU est accomplie. Les prophéties annoncées depuis les temps anciens  sont accomplies. L’amour de DIEU envers l’homme est accompli, et le rachat de l’humanité est accompli.

Pourquoi JESUS-CHRIST a-t-Il subi cette mort tragique ? L’homme a péché dans le jardin d’Eden (Genèse 3, 1 à 24). Ainsi, il a perdu la grâce de DIEU, est devenu rebelle à son Créateur, et s’est retiré dans sa vie de péché : mensonge, idolâtrie, adultère, magie, vol, spiritisme, gourmandise, égoïste, meurtre, corruption, désordre…

Il devient ainsi esclave du diable, parce que la Parole de DIEU dit : « Celui qui pèche est du diable, car le diable pèche dès le commencement. Le Fils de DIEU a paru afin de détruire les œuvres du diable » (1 Jean 3, 8)

C’est pour cette  raison que le Fils de DIEU S’est chargé de nos péchés, de nos souffrances, de nos douleurs et Il accepte de nous racheter par Sa mort sur la croix.

« Car DIEU a tant aimé le monde qu’Il a donné Son Fils Unique, afin que quiconque croit en Lui ne périsse point, mais qu’il ait la vie éternelle » (Jean 3, 16).

C’est pour cela que la Parole de DIEU dit aux croyants : « ne vous y trompez : ni les impudiques, ni les idolâtres, ni les adultères, ni les efféminés, ni les infâmes, ni les voleurs, ni les cupides , ni les ivrognes, ni les outrageux, ni les ravisseurs, n’hériteront le Royaume de DIEU » (1 Corinthiens 6, 10).

Cher ami, tout est accompli pour toi, voici le temps de sauver son âme, accepte aujourd’hui devant DIEU que tu as péché : la mort de CHRIST sur la croix produira le fruit de vie pour ton âme : ne sais-tu pas que CHRIST est venu sur la terre pour les pécheurs dont tu fais partie ?

« Encore un peu de temps, celui qui doit venir viendra, et Il ne tardera pas, et Mon juste vivra par la foi… » (Hébreux 10, 37).

Crois au Seigneur JESUS-CHRIST maintenant. Ne te fais pas « juste » alors que tu es injuste. Accepte l’Evangile, et ne juge pas les œuvres de DIEU, car l’Eternel ne laissera pas impunis tous ceux qui sont rebelles à Sa Parole. Ne fais sais-tu pas qu’il y a un jour de jugement pour toute personne sur la face de la terre ? Souviens-toi que DIEU jugera les hommes selon Sa justice.(Actes 17, 30 à 31). Ne te trompe pas en disant « J’ai ma religion ... » CHRIST a trouvé des fervents religieux sur la terre (Pharisiens, Sadducéens, adeptes du Judaïsme…) mais, il leur a prêché la repentance et- la conversion : « Le temps est accompli, et le Royaume de DIEU est proche. Repentez-vous et croyez à la Bonne Nouvelle » (Marc 1, 15).

Le Seigneur JESUS-CHRIST Lui-même a dit : « Je suis l’Alpha et l’Oméga, le Premier et le Dernier, le commencement et la Fin. Heureux ceux qui lavent leurs robes, afin d’avoir droit à l’arbre de la vie, et d’entrer par les de la ville ! Dehors les chiens, les enchanteurs, les impudiques, les meurtriers, les idolâtres, et quiconque aime et pratique le mensonge ! Moi, JESUS, j’ai envoyé Mon ange pour vous attester ces choses dans les Eglises. Je suis l’Alpha et l’Oméga, le Rejeton et la postérité de David, l’Etoile brillante du matin Celui qui atteste ces choses dit : Oui, Je viens bientôt. Amen ! Viens, Seigneur JESUS ! Que la grâce du Seigneur JESUS soit avec tous ! » (Apocalypse 22, 13 à 16 et Apocalypse 22, 20 à 21)
